Kelly rescued by the judges
24 Aug 2011 - Kelly Fortuin was thrown a lifeline by the judges this week after receiving the fewest viewer votes for her performance of Michael Jackson’s Rock With Me. Idols judge Gareth Cliff told the Cape Town mother that she should be forgiven for one bad performance.
Dené Vorster and Crushanda Forbes were the other two singers in the bottom three as Lefa Pike, who had been in the bottom three twice already, made the top three for his performance this week. The once-off rescue by the judges means that two contestants will be voted off next week.
