4 Oct 2011 - Dave van Vuuren has won Idols South Africa 2011 by the smallest margin in South African Idols history.
Dave narrowly beat Mark Haze by 50.49% to 49.51% of the more than 1.9 million votes cast before the close of voting.
Dave's prize package includes a Ford Fiesta Sport, R50 000 worth of Yamaha musical equipment, a recording contract with Universal Music South Africa and more.
