Eskom have warned of a continued high risk of stage one or two load-shedding, most likely from 5pm.

Breakdowns are currently totalling 13 899MW of capacity, while another 2 220MW is unavailable due to planned maintenance.

Eskom repeated in a statement that the outlook for the week was expected to improve.
