Hunting, self-drive visits to private or public game reserves and national parks, as well as recreational fishing are among the activities included in the directions under level 3, according to the Department of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries.
The regulations were published in the Government Gazette today.

The department says fishers must ensure that they have a valid permit. Subsistence hunting for food with the necessary permits is also permitted.
and all regulations relating to social distancing, health protocols, movement and the prohibition of groups and gatherings apply.
The directions also allow online wildlife auctions to take place, as well as live auctions comprising not more than 50 people where online auctions are not possible.
Creecy said “All the usual protocols with regard to social distancing, hand-sanitising and wearing of masks will apply at all times”.
