SECTION 29
29. Presumption of ownership
(1) Unless the contrary is proven—
(a) any animal found on any premises is presumed to be the property of, or under the control of, the owner or occupier of those premises; and
(b) any animal found on or in a public place is presumed to be the property of, or under the control of, the person having custody or control of that animal.
