SECTION 6
6. Animals shall not be a source of danger
(1) No person may urge, incite or provoke any animal to attack, worry or frighten any person or animal or fail to exercise reasonable care to prevent any animal from attacking, or charging at any other person or animal, and for the purposes of this subsection includes the prohibited use of dogs to hunt other animals.
(2) Any person who keeps an animal on any premises must, upon request by a City employee, authorised official or member of the South African Police Service entering upon such premises in the execution of their duties, take reasonable steps to restrain or secure such animal so as to prevent any danger to such persons.
(3) A notice to the effect that a dangerous animal is being kept on such premises must be displayed in a conspicuous place at each access point to the premises.
